a bit annoying that most 40Mbps suppliers at least give 10Mbps for upload and sometimes 20Mbps for upload - now plusnet is just 2Mbps

shocking! - lol

Purely a cost cutting exercise by plusnet, plenty of complaints on the forum of people downgrading only to find they have lost their 20m upstream  after being told they wouldn't .
An intelligent man is sometimes forced to be drunk to spend time with his fools.

Legacy contracts are like hen's teeth. My 80/20 contract offer ends next July but I'm tied into line rental until November so can't negotiate a better deal until then. Will have to bite the bullet and pay the full price of 19.99 rather than lose the upload speed.

Simple then you need to change either uptake up the Plusnet 80Mb offering or move to another isp like Origin I use or another there are others.
