My Trend Micro suite is going to expire in 3 days and from reading reviews Trend isn't as good as it once was. Been also getting false positives.

Whats the most reliable site for reviews? Kaspersky sounds not badů Also need to to cover 3 PC's. http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/software/internet-security/1401992/kaspersky-internet-security-2015-review

Doh! Wrong section. Can somebody shift it to security please.

This it? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Norton-Security-User-Devices-Product/dp/B00NOHNYFO/
that's a pretty good price, you can use it on pc's macs, android and iphones, win phones don't need an av

I'll go with this for the year to see how I get on. Haven't used Norton since 2004.

There's so many mixed feedback from people I've been reading about those. I suppose like everything, there will always be bad reviews.

I used kaspersky for years, from when it was called Anti virus toolkit pro(AVP) but started having issues with it in 2009(maybe 2008) which Lisa and her team at kaspersky UK couldn't sort out even with help from their developers in Russia, got so cheesed off with it I tried Norton and have used it ever since, have tried others but keep coming back to Norton, didn't like Bitdefender at all to be honest, found it heavy once you turned up protection to equivalent of what I have Norton set to,try them all on their free trials and see what you think of them, that way you get at least 3 months free! lol

I can't get over the performance difference. Not that I had issues but it isn't the Norton I once remember.

the latest norton suite is like having no av installed at all, amazingly light, even though the kaspersky and bitdefnder suites are supposed to be as light, they're not(I tried both before buying nortons latest,I bought it even though I had a key to use bitdefender free for 9months!)

The biggest difference I've noticed is the Laptop with the mechanical drive. CPU idles 1% compared to 5% and most things start up quite fast now. Firefox has went from 8.6 seconds startup to 3.7. Unlike the desktops where it loads in 1.3 seconds.

The laptop is running a bit cooler as well. 38c.

I still cannot get over how light Norton has become. As the desktops sit at 0% idle. Even startup. Trend Micro took a few minutes to load that would use up a quite a few minutes of high CPU usage.
