I need to get on here more often as I have no idea what pop corn time is (Unless of course you simply mean movies from your android device and not some app for stuff)

Nice one! I'll give that a go. Can come in very handy that! I was just away to install Showbox on my phone to try that.

Sounds good then to me. I have a mate that raves about XBMC but it just sounded a bit rubbish to me after reading about it. I'll certainly give your suggestion a whirl. :D

Sounds very promising then! Glad I asked instead of presuming you meant a movie.

PROBLEMS

ive jst installed it on an old packard bell laptop f9or a firend - since which it wont work on either, theres no uninstall option in control panel - sometimes it loads up with the movies and sometimes it says theres a problem and try again later

when movies are on they dont play....one i tried anyway

im assuming the TV shows are ok...?!

even if it gets sorted out your  need to use VPN o your phone and ir not easy and best to use a well reviewd once...probably paid...

It seems to be working fine for me. Just tried Teenage mutant Ninja Turtles and Planet of the apes. Bothe worked flawlessly.

Since this program is unlike most Windows programs, you will not find an uninstaller for it. Instead, this program will need to be deleted and there are no registry keys for it.
1. Click on My Computer.
2. Click on C:.
3. Click on Users.
4. Click on your name or Administrator if your name is not available.
5. Click on AppData.
6. Click on Roaming.
7. Select Popcorn Time.
8. Right-click and then press delete.

Depending on your usage of this program, you may find yourself deleting well over gigabytes of content as the program does download the movie in order to play the movie. - See more at: http://www.editorchoice.com/tech/popcorn-time/install-use-popcorn-time/#sthash.puuBY2yq.dpuf

I have no idea. I don't get stopped going onto websites now. Never seen any of the 'This website is blocked due to a court order' since moving to Zen.

Its not stopping the website, you can access the website

also the install location doesnt exist (users/Paul/appdata/roaming/pocorn view), searched entired omputer to be sure not under other username either?

i'd like to get it working, my olleague whos good with it says you need to use VPN on tablets and probably other devices that the ISPs are starting to block, he;s at work so cant ask, will have to google but ive got some filling to do to keep her happy lol

I know it wouldn't stop their website. I just assumed as most UK ISP's block torrent websites, And this streams from those sites (I assume) then it may be down to that.

Christmas Cheer, and the New Years holiday
Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays everyone!

It's that time of year again. It's the festive holidays, and some of you are probably rushing about trying to get your final gifts in for your loved ones or friends. Even everyone at Popcorn Time has been busy getting gifts together... But our gifts are for you!

It's been a busy year for all of us, and we're glad you've stuck with us this long! being part of the community and supporting us by finding bugs and just being great users all around is something we appreciate. So today we're giving you a couple gifts to say thank you in return.
Popcorn Time for Android

Yes, you read that right. We're releasing a proper Android client for Popcorn Time! You'll be able to enjoy your movies over the holidays on your phone or tablet. This app is brand new, and it's still in development. Much like our desktop app that's in beta... a lot will change, but we have big plans for it, including all kinds of amazing features. If you like it, send your thanks to our Android developers, they worked hard on this for you!
Popcorn Time 0.3.6

For the holidays this year we're giving you another gift. We're going to release Popcorn Time 0.3.6 for you all to enjoy! Once again we've done our best to squash all kinds of bugs, but we've also included new features this time around. The mighty beasts that are Chromecast and AirPlay we've once again attempted to tame, same goes for the subtitles loading issues. You can find the changelog on our forum

On top of all that, Popcorn Time 0.3.6 also includes a VPN. It's still in Alpha but it's working for us, so we've decided to let you all try it out. Let us know how it works!

We hope you enjoy our gifts, have a wonderful Christmas or any other holiday you celebrate and have a wonderful New Year.

We're looking forward to a great 2015 with you all!
