Anyone got any .....

Snow , been checking  various web cams from the Orkney isles -Cumbria- Norfolk -west Ireland- Cornwall and  Sussex and not a flake seen but the daily mail said we have had a weather bomb !
sure it was a bit nippy in Surrey ,got some frost on the car windscreen over night ,
but then it is winter  ::)
I am wondering whether it was a weather bomb or whether it wasn't
maybe it dropped in your back yard ? ,

No snow in my neck of the woods only icy side roads that don't get gritted.

Areas of southern England are forecast to reach highs of 18C (64F), making them hotter than the Balearic party island, where the mercury will reach 16C (61F).

joking aside , having read the dire weather warnings in the papers  (weather bomb /thundersnow  etc. )
and searching live weather cams , I am beginning to think I have moved into the Eden project  dome ! , got hellebores & snowdrops  in full bloom ,  granted they are early plants , but never seen them this early B4  ,
I can still remember the winter 62/63 ,  That was a cruel one for brass monkeys ,

strange that sterilized froze first ,  seen the same in lab work , I should know why but now forgotten ,
BTW , worked at Unigate as a engineer for a year , the 4AM shift starts did my head in ,  Unigate laid of all company milkmen and sold them back their round as a self employed franchise , I quit at that point , and went back to med research and a pay
cut ,
Steve, 12 years a milkman ? you got my respect . same for postmen and other essential utilities guys , indeed I was a pole climber for S.E.E.B before it later became E.df , hard but honest toil  ,

When I first started we used to star at 4-30iss,but it went crazy when I finished the rounds were so spread out and everybody who had milk delivered wanted wanted it dead early I was starting at midnight, had a young family and was seeing none of them,so sold it
