Well as you know I've been having trouble with my wifi speeds on my iPhone, I'm getting 74mb but it feels like it's going through treacle. Last night I stayed at a hotel as its my fiances birthday and they have free wifi and speeds of around 18mb my phone is flying so it must be my router so I'm going to reset the whole thing later back to factory settings and see what happens

I suppose you have tried setting channels manually away from router default?

Yes that's what I was thinking but it works fine at other places, it's like my phone doesn't like the router. In the next couple days I'm gonna put the plusnet provided router on and see what happens then

was it ok before you upgraded to iOS 8..?  if so, then it must be a driver issue that doesnt 'gel' with your Asus wifi driver

in what way does it slow down?...are pages taking ages to load? or are you just keep running speedtests to see what its doing?

Yes it was fine before I upgraded, it's the pages that are slow to load. Speed test are around the 73mb mark.

I'll delete some stuff but would it be that because as soon as I reboot either phone or router the phone is fine for a few mins
