why your speed results look spot on and i imagine any line fault will occur with other ISPs

Don't know what my uplift was? But my ds attenuation on adsl was 26 with a 17 Meg sync and on fibre it's 13. I got the full 78 initially but now it's 70.

Just phoned PN to order BT Sport and also asked about FTTC availability and confirmed Sept 31, also they asked if I'm renewing my BB as i'm out of contract and on monthly I said I was waiting for FTTC and get a deal when available. He said ok then I'll give a 25% for the next 2 months to tie me over til FTTC.

PN support are great cant say a bad word for them (should rung earlier and got 3 months).

I've seen the 78 Meg sync once more since the initial drop, but it seems to be more stable in the low 70's.

aye Xtalk varies and is a major impactor in VDSL speeds (especially dipping over time)

JUST SEEN THIS: IS IT A BT FIBRE CAB?

A) there is an old one across the road
B) there is an BT hatch just away from new one (looks old though but that jst might br a re-used cover

this is CAB 6 I believe - mine is CAB 15

I guess they have a team that do one cab at a time in an area...if my RFS is Xmas then im expecting March-Jun 2014

Looks like a huawei fibre cabinet not an eci one. Once installed go over to it and listen to see if you can hear a hum you know then that it's getting close to fibre time
