EVERYONE PLEASE READ

some of you may know that we have had some access issues since switching hosts, rarely you may get a 404 (page not found) or 500 (internal server error) error when accessing the site, this has happened to me once, Tom and Den a few times, simply refreshing or clicking the bookmark again works and gets you back on the site...

I have confronted the hosts who say they think its been TapaTalk but I believe it may not be related to that because they do not happen at the same time as TT errors, we have re-installed TapaTalk so its working again and the TT errors have subsided, so now we are waiting to see if we get any more 404/500 errors
 - if you do please report it on this thread the date and time it happened
also if it was the homepage or any other page on the website you visited, the one time it happened to me it was when I clicked the bookmark in my chrome browser, I got the "there has been an internal server error" page, I clicked the bookmark again and the site loaded.

we need to know so we can try and work out whats causing it

thanks

well it seems we/I have not had any 500 errors since I have re-installed Tapatalk so maybe it was related too that, performance seems ok with TT installed so may just leave it on for now

Clean and green here snadge  ;D

the mods creator is thinking it could have been a plugin installed AFTER TT thats messed up code, but if thats the case it would not uninstall...and it did...so thats that theory blown out the water

im dying to know if it will start up again if we removed TT lol

I think something has gone wrong during the transfer too these hosts, or something isnt working right.

Den1 can you tell me what page you where trying too access when it happened and did it load on an F5 refresh?

this is all I have in the log for that time...is it your IP?

 Jan 21 18:11:29 2014] [error] [client 87.112.xxx.201] File does not exist: /home/techtalk/public_html/500.shtml, referer: http://www.thetechforum.co.uk/chit-chat/todays-e-mail-joke/msg22197/?topicseen

I have msg TSOhost

edit: seems to me to be TSO issue as the page it could not reach does exist and works, so this means at that time they had an issue which meant they couldnt reach it.
