Nope aint had one of those

thought you used to get them on occasion?

other people are because i can see them in the logs....wonder if this is the reason for the forum seemingly being a bit more quiet than usual with regards to activity?

both 404 and 500 ive been seeing in the apache server logs - they both appear similar so you may have had both but not realised (unless you read them)

im gunna try install Tapatalk and see what happens, support is useless, they take 7 days to reply and are completely useless, teh replies sounds like the creator doesnt even know what he is talking about, wants me to search my entire hosting for the 'mobiqou' folder saying this should show what files are calling on this folder....doesnt make any sense too me, might have to turn to SMF support

thats a 500 error...as it says additionally a 404 occurred at the bottom

maybe we need to get back onto the hosts about this 500 Internal Server Error problem, if you could do that while I reinstall Tapatalk then that would be great...they will just point the finger but  if that were true we would be getting 500 errors 100% of the time...instead they are intermittent...Iam not convinced its related to Tapatalk...even though its possible

Hi a few more of us are getting this error now why is it that its intermittent surely if its anything to do with tapatalk then we would be getting these errors all the time

thanks Tom...  I have reinstalled Tapatalk so monitor the forum performance and error logs too, the last entry was:

Sun Jan 05 19:31:39 2014 - File does not exist: /home/techtalk/public_html/mobiquo

so should not be anymore about missing mobiqou folder as now its back! - I will later try to uninstall it again and see if it works this time... I think we have at least 1 but possibly 2 issues here..

edit: gannite has had access issues today

Had this reply

It still seems to be reporting the same error as before:

[Sun Jan 05 18:31:38 2014] [error] [client 188.29.165.190] File does not exist: /home/techtalk/public_html/mobiquo

So it seems that there is a file in your site which is still trying to reach that folder. Did you get any further with trying to find that?

I'm sure you will get to the bottom of it and solve this error.

Though I've not had that error or any network error accessing the site but that maybe because I'm not on regular enough.

Will TT be here to stay if so I'll re-use the Convo app

If we don't have any more problems then yes it will be staying but just need to test at the moment

the mobiqou errors have stopped since re-installing TT - now too see fi we continue to get 404/500 errors, if so then we know for sure that its not related to TT, if it IS then TT does not uninstall properly and leaves code embedded somewhere that calls on this folder, its just the 404/500 errors dont always occur alongside the 'mobiqou' errors which leads me to think they are unrelated, its as if TSO are simply blaming another error in the log...I could be wrong...

i have said this too hosts after AGAIN blaming TT

Quote
Hi

we believe that its unrelated as these errors do not always occur with the 404/500 server errors, the MOBIQUO folder belonged to the Tapatalk plugin, we had removed Tapatalk but still pages seem to be calling on this folder, this leads us too believe that Tapatalk does not uninstall all code and causes this "mobiquo folder does not exist" error, so, we have re-installed it and these errors have subsided since then....but we will soon find out if its related, we dont think it is because like I say we dont get 404 or 500 errors everytime there is a "mobiqou folder does not exist" error - we believe them to be 2 seperate issues

if you look at the log here you will see a completely different time AND IP address when a 500 error occurs which shows its totaly unrelated to the "mobiquo folder not found" error, the 500 Internal Server Error happens many mins after & before a Mobiquo error (see below) this proves they are totally unrelated - something is happening server wise which is blocking access? (the error is we dont have a custom 500 error page to show our users, we were getting 404 ones until I created a custom 404 page)...but why are the 404 and 500 errors occuring anyway?
